Alford Group of Doctors is a four-doctor medical practice based at Merton Lodge Surgery in Alford, Lincolnshire. We have over 8,000 patients across 200 square miles around Alford. At our web-site you can learn about our staff, read our regular newsletter, send us your feedback about the practice, and examine our museum archive of interesting medical equipment from yester-year. Our Mission Statement

We wish to study specific ways in which we can improve the overall performance of the practice to best serve our population whilst at the same time fulfilling our individual and corporate needs. We would like to develop management structures to maximise our clinical role whilst minimising our administrative role. Within our clinical role, we wish to study that which we actually provide in patient care with the objective of making this the best available. To achieve these ends we would need to examine the use of our timetable, staff, funds and services and to take account of current expert thought, peer group opinion, cost effectiveness and personal view
