At Merton Lodge Surgery in Alford the doctors and nurses take pride in offering the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare.  

We run many clinics for chronic disease care and offer a wide variety of other medical services such as antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.

Our Mission Statement

We wish to study specific ways in which we can improve the overall performance of the practice to best serve our population whilst at the same time fulfilling our individual and corporate needs.

We would like to develop management structures to maximise our clinical role whilst minimising our administrative role. Within our clinical role, we wish to study that which we actually provide in patient care with the objective of making this the best available. To achieve these ends we would need to examine the use of our timetable, staff, funds and services and to take account of current expert thought, peer group opinion, cost effectiveness and personal view.
