Weight Management – Children & Family

Want to get your family moving more? Looking for snack swap ideas? Want advice on eating healthy on a budget? Try our FREE 12-week health and wellbeing programme that offers exciting and engaging activities that motivate and support families to work towards a healthy weight together.

What we offer:

  • An initial conversation with one our team.
  • Meet your coach – a great opportunity for you to get to know each other!
  • 10 weeks of 60 minute group sessions for you and your child to attend.
  • Fun, 45 minutes of non-competitive physical activity for children such as trampolining, rock climbing, dodgeball and more!
  • A supportive group for parents where you will learn strategies for supporting your child to lead a healthy lifestyle, covering topics like snacking, portions, sleep and getting active.
  • In the final 15 minutes, parents/carers and children come together, for a fun interactive activity like making healthy pizzas!
  • Next adventure! A 1-1 session with your coach to review your success and set ‘healthy missions’ for the future!
  • FREE resources to motivate and guide your family to make healthy lifestyle changes, including recipe ideas and much more.
  • Additional 1-1 support from your coach outside of weekly sessions.
  • Gloji Energy goodies, complete missions to earn rewards like: sports bag and water bottle!

If the 12-week child and family weight management programme isn’t for you, please do check out our other child service, the 6-week Healthy Lifestyle Programme, as this may be more suited to your family’s needs.

Who We Help..

  • Lincolnshire residents
  • Children aged 4-12
  • Children who are measured on or above the 91st BMI centile. Please check your child’s BMI centile here.
  • Children identified as overweight or very overweight through the National Child Measurement Programme.
